Created out of necessity.

During the ag boom of 2008, we started by redistributing used pallet racking and material handling equipment. But it wasn't long before we saw a real need for something better.

The farmers we worked with needed tables as tough as they were—heavy-duty workbenches that could take a beating and keep standing. So we grabbed leftover steel from pallet racks and started welding together workbenches that were built to last.

What started as repurposed steel turned into a full-blown vision and mission: to kill the disposable mindset

How We GOT HERE

2008

The Ag Boom

Big Rack Shack was born. We began redistributing used pallet racking and material-handling equipment during the agricultural boom, working directly with farmers who needed gear as tough as they were.
2009

The First Workbench

It didn’t take long to see a gap in the market. The farmers we served needed tables that could take a beating. Our first workbenches were built from repurposed pallet racking and topped with plate steel—tough, simple, and built to last.
2010

Badass Workbench is Born

The early benches were a hit, but customers wanted more. We designed our first fully custom table from the ground up—no shortcuts, no compromises. Soon came requests for different sizes, thicker tops, and add-ons like drawers.
2016

We hit the road

We expanded through dealer partnerships, taking Badass Workbench nationwide. Today, our tables are found coast-to-coast and around the world—from Australia to Canada to Puerto Rico.
2025

A New home

After years of growth, Badass Workbench secured its permanent home, anchored by a 7,500-square-foot showroom and a 60,000-square-foot manufacturing facility.
2026

A Partnership evolves

With exclusive rights to Swivel Storage Solutions’ patented drawer design, a long-standing partnership evolved into Badass Workbench leading all sales and marketing efforts.
